Annapolis, MD (December 13, 2004) - Lieutenant Colonel John Rupp, United States Marine Corps, was the featured speaker at the recent AATC Holiday mixer sponsored by Sidus Group, LLC. Lt. Col. Rupp is currently serving as the US Marine Corp's distinguished fellow at the Center for the Study of Professional Military Ethics at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Lt. Col. Rupp spoke about ethics at the top and the requirement for people in significant leadership positions to act appropriately. Stating that those with great power, great influence, and great wealth, have an inherent and enormous responsibility to simply do the right thing can sum up the thesis of Rupp's speech.

Commenting on Rupp's presentation, Sidus Group president and CEO, Mark Powell stated, "John's discussion regarding leadership and ethics is a great fit for our member base. Many attendees at last week's member networking event hold top or high positions within their organizations, and ethics is always a top focus for them." Powell goes on, "John did a fantastic job of using his recent military experience in Iraq to highlight the similarities of 'doing the right thing'. His input about modern military technology to perform his duties in Iraq was very intriguing as well."

Also participating in last week's event was the South River High School Robotics Team. After a brief presentation about their mission and upcoming technology competition in March 2005, Powell, on behalf of the AATC, presented them with a $250 check. Other AATC members were quick to jump on the bandwagon with additional sponsor money.
