Annapolis, MD (November 1, 2004) - Sidus Group, LLC today announced it's President and CEO, Mark Powell, has been appointed president of the Board of Directors for the Anne Arundel County Technology Council (AATC).
Supported by a grant from the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC), AATC's mission is to attract new technology companies to the county, and help emerging technology companies grow and prosper in the dynamic environment. The organization represents the common interests of members located throughout the Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington, DC areas, providing them with a voice in the marketplace.
"Anne Arundel County is just beginning to show its technology potential", says Powell. "The total number of AATC members in Anne Arundel County is growing day by day. Since the technology market is at a critical point in its growth, this is the best moment to reinvigorate our program to help get additional organizations on board to use our services that will help enhance their business.
The AATC exists to serve as a
resource to help meet technology companies' business,
education and networking needs. They also help enhance
public understanding of technology-related issues.
